This recipe makes the best rolled out sugar cookies I’ve ever tried. They come out a little puffy, soft, and soooo good. Interested in baking some? Go find a few cookie cutters and have some good old cookie decorating fun with this recipe. These sour cream cookies are great for Valentine’s day, birthdays, and they’re even our go-to for Santa’s cookies each year too 🙂

I hope you are able to make these sour cream cookies at home for your loved ones! If you’d like, you can top them with frosting, powdered sugar or a light layer of jam. They’re a favorite in my home… maybe they’ll be a favorite in yours as well!
From my home to yours,

I have an almost identical recipe from my mother-in-law that I have been making for over 40 years. They are the family absolute favorite! My granddaughter makes them now too.
These sound delicious! Going to try it this weekend as my 6 yr old granddaughter will be making these with me!
